Alden Park Strathmoor is celebrating October with this exciting event that will benefit the Leukemia Research Foundation.
Octoberfest Chili Cook-off

We’re accepting up to 15 entries into the competition, so if you think you make the best chili in town, we want to hear from you! Deadline for entry is October 8.
For a $5 donation, attendees will be able to sample all the chilis and get a full bowl of their favorite. There will also be all kinds of games and activities for the whole family, including:
- Baking and craft sale
- Face painting
- Bouncy houses
- Pumpkin painting
- Kids’ games with prizes
- Hot dogs, chips and soda/water for sale
- Cotton candy
- Caramel apples
